Multiple end-games that are all scalable and very satisfying.
Absolutely fantastic loot and wonderful crafting (best crafting I’ve seen in any ARPG).
Heck, 2 players could pick the same 6 skills for their Fire Mage and they’d still play completely differently. Two players could build a Fire mage and they’d play completely differently.
Each and every skill available has its very own skill tree where 20 points can be spent to fully customise both how that skill works and how it interacts with other skills.
Each character must also pick 6 of the class-specific skills, from a choice of about 15.
Every character has a giant passive tree, specific to class (comparable to PoE’s giant passive grid).
PoE and Grim Dawn are both excellent and have fantastic end-games worth progressing for. Warhammer Chaosbane is by far the most underestimated aRPG out there, available on Steam.Īnother alternatives can not recommend, like Grim Dawn, POE(maybe expecting POE 2 in this case), LostArk releasing soon(not sure about this one also). There are few alternatives out there, first that come into my mind is Warhammer Chaosbane, much much better than D2, there is a real feel of progression, very good tiemization, skill tree(a real one not 2-3 synergies as D2), a very good end-game - there is a tower what you can play with 10 levels difficulties and 100 floors, each floor adding difficulty, at each floor you can choose to go upper or to open a super chest which bring real good loot. But what we have available? As Diablo 2R is seems that have no end-game(no really a reason to play after finishng Hell), Diablo 3 ok, much better than D2 but is already ~10 years burned, Diablo 4 will come in few years and what to expect at release - tons of bugs and not available servers… We like this kind of games, that’s clear.
